Organic skincare products to care for your children

We all know how hard it is with a little baby on our hands. It's very difficult to care for them and ensure that they are using the safest products on their skin. We all try and buy the most organically manufactured products possible, not just for our children but also for ourselves, especially if we have extremely sensitive skin that needs that extra tender love and care.

However, as much as you try and be as organic as possible, you might find that you or your child is not happy with the scent of the skincare product. After all, we want tour children to be happy in what they wear. So a lot of testing needs to be done. With organic products being so much in demand, but the production of organic products is not as fast, you find that they don't actually keep any testers in the shop. So at this point, you're stuck with just trying to get a scent from a closed bottle.

Aside from the scent that is quite unique across all organic products, its important to know which products are really organic and which aren't. Most organic products will have the certification logo and will be packaged in a green shade of packaging. Most organic products will not contain any of the harsh chemicals that could be damaging to your skin including things like parabens and petro chemicals as well as fragrances. Most organically produced products are safe and friendly to buy because they haven't been tested on animals. Most organic products are produces using Rooibos as one of the key ingredients, its powerful and has healing properties.

There are some great advantages for using organic baby skincare products as opposed to chemically produced products. One of the reasons why it has taken off so well across the country is because of the need to reduce the amount of chemical exposure that developing infants are exposed to. Also, because babies are smaller, any toxins form non organic products can seep into the skin and remain in their system longer than it would in an adult. They are also long lasting, because typically, you can buy large amounts of the organic products for a cost. The initial cost may seem quite high at first but if you think how long it lasts you, you'll quickly realise that they are extremely cost effective.

Also, the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) have already highlighted that the reason for the increased costs of organic products is simply because they are in demand, but that there is very little organic produce to meet the demands and hence international transport costs are increasing to meet the demands.
